Fairfield Guesthouse, Cafe and Bakery will be open and fully functioning across the Tsagaan Sar (Lunar New year) period (February 16-18, 2018).  Take the opportunity to escape the pollution and congestion of the city during the holiday period.  We can provide transport to and from Ulaanbaatar, accommodations in our toasty warm and comfortable guesthouse.  

Our English-speaking guide, Eenee, will be available to take you to visit a countryside nomadic family in their gers and experience a genuine nomadic Tsagaan Sar without the discomfort of a language barrier.  He loves to share Mongolian culture and customs and history with guests.   Ride horses if you would like. Stay overnight with a nomadic family in their ger if you wish.

We are not arranging this as a fully scheduled tour with a full programme, but rather will assist you with any arrangements you require.  If you simply wish to rest, or go for a hike, ride a bicycle, or take time to yourself you will be very welcome to do that.  If you would like to be a part of the festivities, the welcoming in of the new year, our staff will assist you with making arrangements.
