What Fairfield stands for
Since 1995, Fairfield has been helping travellers discover the most remote, wild, and beautiful places in Mongolia… while also providing a small haven to which they can retreat, relax, and recuperate from their journeys.
It’s our goal to offer all the comforts that are hard to find in countryside Mongolia: western food options, barista coffee, fresh baked goods, free Wi-Fi, English-speaking customer service, and a spotlessly clean environment.

Fairfield is committed to providing stable employment for local Mongolians here in Arkhangai, meaning all our permanent staff are provided year-round employment despite the short summer tourism window.
It’s also our goal to support as many local businesses and individual operators as possible, ranging from horse guides, nomadic families offering homestays, fishing guides, drivers, translators, and the suppliers of the products and services we use at Fairfield. We are committed to providing honest and ethical business opportunities for them, at fair rates. You may be able to find some services at lower rates than we offer at Fairfield, but you can be sure that those who work with us are not being abused or being taken advantage of. Please support us in this endeavour.
