Description

The Tamir River of Arkhangai has three branches that converge near the town of Battsengel. At different times of the season each of these three rivers have a remarkable abundance of greyling and lenock that make for great fishing. Ugii Nuur, 90 mins or so drive from here makes for some great lake fishing where people catch Taimen from time to time.  5-6 hour's drive north from here is a region often called '5 Rivers' where the Ider, Delgermörön, Bügsei, Selenge and Chuluut rivers converge in a few short kilometres, making for some exciting fishing for many varieties of fish.
